Mōrena Erika, my name is Elle and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
Thank you for sharing your haiku! I think it’s cool that instead of doing a haiku about summer, you’ve chosen something that is really hot like the sun! You have done an excellent job at ensuring the syllables are all correct and I like the warning about being careful around volcanoes at the end - this is very informative!
What inspired you to do a haiku about volcanoes? I always find it fascinating how volcanoes are formed, because it’s a very complicated process that happens naturally, despite being so dangerous!
I used to write lots of haiku poems when I was younger - you've inspired me to challenge myself and get back into it again!
Keep up the great blogging Erika, and I look forward to seeing what you post next!
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Note: only a member of this blog may post a comment.
