The End Of Term 2 Blog Post!

It is so sad that it is my last blog post for this term, so I am going to say three things about this term.

 I will start with winter sports. So for winter sports I play hockey and I compete with people that play hockey in my school, together we compete against other schools and so, for winter sports my favourite is hockey. 

Next I will say what I liked about this term. I liked the koru art we did, and once we drew a koru art we made it into a picture. 

Now I will say what challenged me, what challenged me was practicing hockey on the GRASS which is very hard because it makes it very hard to push and hit it through the grass.

I have been learning about Antarctica and that we need to start helping it because then all the ice in Antarctica will melt and the whole world will just be water. Every living species on earth won't even be able to live anymore, and that includes us humans too. I am going to show you a report I have done about Antarctica. Here it is:

Hi I am Erika and I am going to talk to you about Antarctica we need to start helping it so more animals can keep living in the world and so us humans can as well. Also if we don’t help it the ice will melt and

almost all the world will be covered in water and the whole world will just be water.

Handwriting DLO

Hi bloggers today I am going to show you how to do linking in handwriting, and you don't link a capital letter.  It is very hard when you start but it does get much easier.  I learn't how to do the c and it is very hard, it looks like waves when you do them. I also learnt how to do the ed, e, feed, and need. I had to have a really steady hand to be able to do it. The thing I did well in this was the c I think it looks much better than the rest and it looks a bit wonky though. My challengers was the word feed because I had to link the f and I didn't know how. There was also the AFL which we had to write a sentence that the teacher gave us out of the words we linked. Did you know that people link to get faster at writing.

my amazing friday.

On Friday I went ice skating, some people went skiing. 

When I went to ice skating my Mum and Dad were there. I first started not wanting to go on the ice. Then I went on the ice and hugged the wall. Then I did not go on the wall. I got off the wall and took little steeps. Then I could ice skate. When I was done somebody called my group, I was in group six, Lucy was too.

 My teacher was a girl and a boy. She and he taught  us how to ice skate. 

My DLO Of The Grid Method.

Today I will tell you about how I use the grid method, but first I have some questions, those questions are: 

1. How would you use a grid method? I would use a grid method just like how I did it in the video so watch the video so you know how I use a grid method and how to use a grid method.

2. Have you ever done a grid method before? Well I have used or done a grid method and I have proof in the video.

Next, I will teach you, so firstly lets start with a equation like 84 x 8 = ? So I will start of with giving you some steps.

1. You would make a grid method or draw one.  

2. You have to but a X sign on the very first box.

3. You need to put the equation in the left over boxes at the top.

4. You would add up the numbers like 8 x 8 then add a zero on the end of your answer.
