It is so sad that it is my last blog post for this term, so I am going to say three things about this term.
I will start with winter sports. So for winter sports I play hockey and I compete with people that play hockey in my school, together we compete against other schools and so, for winter sports my favourite is hockey.
Next I will say what I liked about this term. I liked the koru art we did, and once we drew a koru art we made it into a picture.
Now I will say what challenged me, what challenged me was practicing hockey on the GRASS which is very hard because it makes it very hard to push and hit it through the grass.

ReplyDeleteI like the fact that you are enjoying learning outside of the classroom with sports including hockey. The skills you learning playing this I know will be useful in other sports in the future. The koru art design work sounds interesting as well. Going back to hockey yes I have played this in the past although usually on nice smooth surface. When it comes to the challenges you have with hockey on the grass have you tried playing with a different sized ball? A tennis ball will move differently on the grass in comparison to a hard ball. Try a different ball and tell me how it goes.
